He has held visiting appointments at the University of Lagos in Nigeria (1993), St. Antony s College in Oxford (2000) and the …cole des Hautes …tudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris (2001). <P>Andrew Apter works on ritual, memory, and indigenous knowledge as well as colonial culture, commodity fetishism and state spectacle.
