Lettre écrite par Boris Bloumine
October 5, 1945.
Our dear and devoted cousins
We received your letter yesterday, which gave us much joy. We were please to hear you had good news from your David and Morris. We also received your two packages today for which we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Everything was very good. You can't imagine the happiness all of us had and joy in meeting and getting to know Morris. He is a fine young man. The few days he was here mad us very happy. He told us all about everyone. We also received a letter from [town in France] from Morris. He informed us that he heard from David who is in Biarritz, and we hope to see him soon. We also heard from Shtishe and her children. It was wonderful to get all the news from all of you. I will reply to everyone soon. In the meantime, my daughter replied from all of us. Now, if you are going to send a package, send some tea and rice. These are hard to get in Paris and we thank you for all your effort on onur behalf. We will send you some pictures of Morris, and when David comes, we will take a family picture with him. We think all of our children will come if all is well and the whole family will be together. We thank you again for everything you are doing for use. From us and our cousins.
Boris and Louise
__________
5 octobre 1945.
Nos chers et dévoués cousins
nous avons reçu votre lettre hier, qui nous a donné beaucoup de joie.
