Source Text: Paul's mother died when he was very young, about 5 years old. His paren ts grew grian. Paul was in the army when his step-mother died. He was i n the army for 4 years. He was training in some form of woodworking - i n a furniture company or boat factory. He was a "Hussier Soldier" and l ived on the palace grounds. Maryann's family were farmers.

Source Text: Paul worked at Pfister & Fogel Foundry on the south side of Milwaukee, T he family was living on south 1st Ave (now S 6th Street). Paul lived cl ose enough to walk to work. The foundries were in the valley between Ok lahoma and Lincoln Avenues because there was water there.

Source Text: Paul's half brother had a family living in Cicero, Illinois. Paul's mo ther died when he wa 5 or 6 years ol;d. He was raised by his step-mothe r who died when Paul was in the army.
