Quality: Primary Source Text: August Pagel was not invited to her wedding because there was some fall
ing out at the time but Elinora didn't know what it was all about becau
se she was "an outsider." Elsie wasn't invited either but she did send a w
edding present and presents when Chris and Denise were born. Gerhard & G
race were "at outs" with the family at the same time, but they were inv
ited and came to the wedding. Gerhard printed the wedding invitations a
s part of their wedding gift. The family expected Eric and Elly to avoi
d Gerhard & his family, too, but they didn't and Elly was the one who g
ot blamed.
